He is currently the Director of Business Apps & Digital Ecosystems for Microsoft Latin America. He was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Microsoft Chile from July 2017 to July 2020. From 2008 to 2017 he has served as Innovation & New Technologies Manager, Business Solutions Sales Manager, Partners & Alliances Manager and Business Solutions Manager. Sales with Partners for Microsoft Chile. Previously, from 2005 to 2008 he served as ISV Business Solutions Manager and Academic and Scientific Relations Manager at Microsoft Chile.
In his career of more than 26 years at Microsoft Corporation, he has worked in several Latin American countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, and others).
Prior to joining Microsoft he was a developer, architect of corporate solutions, systems development in electric power generation and distribution and telecommunications companies.
He has been the founder of several software development startup companies and has served as founder, co-founder, developer, architect and manager of technology and consulting services in them.
His studies and academic interests are in Basic Sciences, specializing in Mathematics.
He is a frequent speaker at international events in the Latin American region on topics of innovation, technology, entrepreneurship and IT value for companies and their businesses and more recently on the relationship and joint work for the creation of value of large companies with startups impacting the digital transformation of companies.
He is a Director and Mentor at Endeavor Chile, He was Director (2012-2013) and President (2014-2015) of Chile Global Ventures (Angel Network – Early Stages Investment), and has participated in several projects as mentor, jury, exhibitor, guest director , etc. at: Startup Chile, Fundacion Chile, Startup Weekend, Imagine Accelerator, Stanford University Ignite Program Latam, Singularity University Chile, Best Place to Innovate Chile, Microsoft Research Fculty Summit 2007 & 2014.
